William Earl Johnson
William "Bill" Earl Johnson was born to Thomas W. and Laura Bell Johnson in Caney Fork, NC, and moved to Crossville with his family at age 14.
In his life he was a carpenter, department head, entrepreneur, farmer and a avid outdoorsman.
He was a good husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, son, friend and neighbor.
He left behind his wife of 56 years, Cora Ann Johnson; children, Ginger A. Schwebel, Cara S. Johnson, Amanda Joyce Johnson, Ruth Ann Johnson, Fran LeMasters and Don Harper; grandchildren, John Johnson, James Johnson (deceased), Shawn Harper, Chrissy Evans, Samantha Gibson Margelewski, Daniel LeMasters, Aaron LeMasters, Suzanne Amber Schwebel, Tyler Mohler and Blaze Brock; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bernice Jones, Ora Ashburn and Clara Hubbard.
The family would like to thank all of those who brought us comfort through their thoughts and prayers, visits to the hospitals, acts of kindness and condolences.
We are very saddened by this loss.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
