Venable Lane Kearley
Venable Lane Kearley, 75, of Crossville passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Cumberland Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6, 1944, in Crossville, and he was a utility maintenance worker for the city of Crossville.
He is survived by wife, Karen Kearley; son, Michael Kearley; sisters, Georgia Gunter and Helen Findley (Tony); brother, Boyd Kearley (Sheila); mother- and father-in-law, William and Geneva Manery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Rice Kearley; mother, Mattie Lou (Brookhart) Kearley; son, Scott Lane Kearley; and Norma "Peewee" Hargis.
Funeral services will be held on Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Hyder Cemetery in Crossville.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
