Tessi Louise (Carter) Gilmer was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 14, 1984 and passed on July 18, 2022, in Crossville, TN. Tessi was an all-loving and generous person whose light shined bright. Tessi's life was focused on serving others and she lived a life of joy and hope. In death, she left behind her loving son, Hunter Gilmer; fiancé Eric Manis; father and mother Donald and Tricia Carter; brother Jonathan (Laura) Carter; and sister Anastasia (Brent) Bowman. As hard as life will be without Tessi, we are all grateful that she is no longer suffering. She was an incredibly special person and an amazing mother. She will truly be missed by all who were privileged to know her.
