Susan Elaine Kantor, 65, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at St. Thomas - Rutherford County in Murfreesboro.
She was born Wednesday, April 20, 1955, in Los Alamos, NM, daughter of the late Jesse Cheadle and Thelma (Phipps) Cheadle.
Susan worked for many years at the United States Chess Federation in Crossville.
She is survived by her husband Alan Kantor of Crossville; sons, Charlie Houston (Ashley) and Cecil Houston, all of Crossville; grandchildren, Charlie, Karson and Collin; brother, Jesse "Buzzy" Cheadle of South Carolina; and brother-in-law, Rudy Maes of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her sister, Joan Maes.
The family held a Time of Remembrance at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 6-8 p.m.
