Sam Gerald Burnett, III, 59, was born on April 13, 1965 to Sam and Maudie (Braunm) Burnett in Crossville. He passed away at his home on September 1, 2024.
He worked at Crossville Ceramics for many years before he became a middle school teacher. Sam was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Pawpaw.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tammie Burnett; children, Kaylyn Bosak (Jesse) and Elijah Burnett (Breanne); and granddaughters, Sarah Kate and Olivia Jane Bosak.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jack Henry Bosak; sister, Melissa Burnett Russ; and brother, Tom Herring.
