Ronald Eugene LaBarge
May 19, 1938 - April 23, 2025
On the morning of April 23, 2025, we bid farewell to Ronald Eugene Labarge, a beloved patriarch and a beacon of love and wisdom for his family. Born on May 19, 1938, in Pontiac, MI, Ronald's journey was one that exemplified hard work, resilience, and commitment to his community.
After climbing the ranks to become a supervisor for General Motors, he impressively held his position until he retired in 1985. Ronald was a man who thrived in the company of his large, loving family and relished in their achievements as if they were his own. Crossville, was his home, where he spent his golden years surrounded by the laughter and joy of his grandchildren.
Ronald's legacy is carried on by his loving wife, Jacquelyn LaBarge, and his children; Ronald LaBarge Jr, Robin LaBarge; Walter (Dawn) Gillespie; Tameala (George) Weltman; Debbie (Gordy) Rushlow; Douglas Heard; Charlene Duddles; and Kenny (Toni) Duddles. He was also a treasured brother to Kay (Earl) Payne; and Chuck (Gloria) LaBarge.
His family tapestry further extended to his 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored. While his departure creates a void in their lives, they are comforted by the wealth of memories they created together.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, John Labarge and Lorraine (Lauren) Miller; his brother, Dean LaBarge; sister and brother-in-law Betty (Bill) Hewitt; his son, Edward LaBarge; and daughter-in-law Linda LaBarge.
His life was a testament to the fact that it is not the years in life, but the life in years that truly counts. Ronald's life was beautifully lived and he made every moment count. His charming presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We encourage all who knew Ronald to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. By doing so, we can ensure that his spirit continues to live on through our shared memories and stories, reminding us of the mark he left on this world.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
