Patricia B. Abersoll, 92, Fishers, IN, formerly of Kokomo, IN, passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Hearth at Windermere in Fishers. She was born on February 8, 1926, in Kokomo to Marcus and Beatrice (Webb) Deardorff. On August 20, 1948, Patricia married Dean Abersoll and he passed away on January 25, 2009.

Patricia was a Kokomo High School graduate and a graduate in nursing earning her degree through the Saint Joseph Hospital. She worked as an industrial nurse for Delco and retired in 1981. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered or donated at the blood mobile. Patricia attended Highland Park Church in Kokomo and Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church in Tennessee.

Survivors include a daughter, Yolanda (Abersoll) Raia of Indianapolis; two brothers, James Deardorff and David (Marie) Deardorff of Phoenix, AZ; one nephew and four nieces.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Beatrice Deardorff; husband, Dean Abersoll; brother, Philp Deardorff; and son in-law, John Raia Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN, with Pastor Ed Vasicek officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the start of the Eastern Star service staring at 2 p.m.
