Fairfield Glade, TN - Norman D. Adams passed away on Feb. 11, 2026, at the age of 87.
He was born at home in a farmhouse in Oregonia, OH. His parents were Raymond and Valeria Adams.
He leaves a loving wife, Carol, to whom he had been married for 60 years, also two sons, David (Stephanie) and James (Tanera), and three grandsons Zach, Joe, and Nate plus a granddaughter, Camryn.
Norm had been a mechanical engineer with Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, IL and was regarded as an engineer's engineer. He had been the chairman of the planning commission of the Village of Green Oaks, IL and also served as the chairman of the election committee at Fairfield Glade.
Norm and his wife had been residents of Fairfield Glade for 31 years. They had been greeters at St. Francis Church for over two decades.
A Memorial Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at 10 a.m.
