Lebanon, TN - Mr. Nick Owens, 80, of Lebanon and formerly of Crossville passed away Nov. 20, 2025, at his home.

Born William Nicholson Owens on March 15, 1945, in Birmingham, AL, he is the son of the late Paul and Lucille Holt Owens. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and went on to the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. He owned and operated Plaza Pharmacy in Crossville for 32 years.

His customers would not only come in to get their medicine but for the comic relief as he was a jokester. He was a lover of nature, enjoying walks through the woods, and was an avid hunter. He welcomed the opportunity to invite family and friends to his farm to hunt.

He was a season ticket holder to the University of Tennessee sporting events and was one of their biggest fans. He loved his family especially his children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffiny Thomasson.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Virnich Owens; children, Tiffany (Jeff) Coughlin, Buffi (David) Stancil, Holly (Anthony) Mills, Matthew Thomasson, and Tamara Thomasson; grandchildren, Abigail, Carter, Sophia, Nicholas, Dante, Ella and M. J.; brother, Terry (Amy) Owens; and his favorite dog, Charlie aka Rufus.
