March 14, 1926—Sept. 10, 2012 Maryann (Vallarelli) Ackerly, 86, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Sept. 10, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home Sept. 14, with the Rev. Lanita Monroe officiating. She was born March 14, 1926, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Frank Vallarelli and Clemintine Vallarelli. Mrs. Ackerly was retired from real estate and was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Phillips, of Fairfield Glade; sons, Clifford Wheelock, of McKenzie, TN, and Scott Wheelock, of Palm Desert, CA; grandchildren, Douglas Phillips, Wayne Phillips, Toni Jordan, Brennan Wheelock, Sean Wheelock, Casey Wheelock and Tiffany Welch; and great-grandchildren, Christina Phillips, Savannah Phillips, Alexi Jordan, Blake Jordan and Lucas Welch. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Ackerly; brother, Fred Vallarelli; and sister, Frances Sforza. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
