Marie Shelton April 7, 1910 - Jan. 19, 2002 Obituary
Marie Shelton, 91, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 19, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, TN, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Kent Romine and Lito Mendoza will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Shelton was born April 7, 1910, in Wilton, AL. She was a homemaker, and a charter member of the United Methodist Church in Huntsville, AL. Survivors include her three sons, Ernest "Polly" Romine of Crossville and Charles Shelton and Anthony Shelton, both of Huntsville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Family members served as pallbearers. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
