Maria Pauline Dale, 62, of Crossville, passed away on October 12, 2024, at Cumberland House.
Ms. Dale was born on May 2, 1962, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, daughter of the late Billy Juan Sharp and Minta Alice (Jones) Sharp.
Maria served families in the child and welfare industry. She was a tireless advocate for children and families. She believed anyone could do better, and make a positive change with the support and encouragement from professionals and those in their circle.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Dale (Taylor) and Jimmy Dale (Alisha); daughter, Christina Lowery; grandchildren, Ava, Kyra, Regan, Mallori, Collins, Anderson, William, Liberty, Lydia, Logan, Justice, Minta, Colton, and Glen; siblings, Beverly Smith and Gary Sharp.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Rodney Sharp and Billy Sharp Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11 a.m.
