Crossville, TN - Lorene Ellyson Cunningham passed away peacefully at her home in Crossville on Oct. 1, 2025.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Douglas "DJ" Cunningham, and her children, daughters, Kay (Mike) Powers and Pam (Paul) Royko; and sons, Mike (Kim) Cunningham and Mark Cunningham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Lorene loved working in her flowers, decorating her home, traveling with DJ and spending summers entertaining her grandchildren. The family is especially thankful to Dr. Mark Hendrixson and his staff for their loving care over the past seven years. The family also thanks Hospice of Cumberland County for their support in her final weeks. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
