Anderson, Indiana - Linda M. Stone King went home to be with Jesus on Feb. 1, 2026, following an extended illness.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1949, and was raised in Crossville.
Linda devoted her life to God and her family. She raised her sisters, Cookie and Kathy beside her own children. Linda, nicknamed "Queenie," was the undisputed Matriarch of the family.
She leaves behind brothers, LeeRoy Stone and Rick Stone; and her "baby sister," Kathy Read.
Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband Roland King; daughters, Leesa and Shannon; son, Shawn Adam King; and sister, Cookie Byrge.
Linda held firmly onto Isaiah 61:3. She knew that the Lord would gladly give her "Beauty for ashes" someday. She loved laughter through tears. Linda will be sorely missed.
