St. Augustine, FL - Larry Joe Richards, 81, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away on Oct. 19, 2025. He was a native of Cumberland County, Vandever area.
He was born on May 9, 1944, in Crossville, son of the late Travis Richards and Lola (Fields) Richards.
Larry was a truck driver for many years and loved traveling and warm weather. He was very involved with his Church of Christ family in Florida, and he loved his Lord.
He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Swafford and Christy Beck (son-in-law Arthur Beck); grandchildren, Sophia, Grayson, Andrew, Emily, and Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Alice; siblings, Medora Fox, Judy Roberts, and Jerry Richards.
Memorial service was held at Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at noon.
