Juanita Burke Sabattus
Juanita passed on Feb. 10 from complications of a fractured hip. She leaves behind a sister, Dorothy Deck; three children, Connie Barnett Ingman, Elaine Barnett Jarratt and James Allen Barnett; five grandchildren, Mitchell Ingman, Jimi Ingman, Madeline Jarratt, Abigail Jarratt and Ansley Jarratt; one great-granddaughter, Kayden Ingman McKown; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sabattus; parents, James and Pearlie (Woody) Burke; brothers, James Reed, Ralph, Melvin and Jack Benny Burke; sister, Helen Keyes; and granddaughter, Melinda Shayne Barnett. She also leaves behind her much beloved staff and friends at Morning Pointe in Lenoir City where she lived for the last three years. She will be greatly missed.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

I loved going to her home when I
Was a little girl; she was a special aunt and I always knew unconditional love from Juanita . Those memories are gifts from my childhood . Thoughts and prayers of all the family during this time of reflection of this special lady .

So sad to hear of Aunt Juanita’s passing. I have many memories of us growing up and lately our little chats and texts. She will be missed so much. Prayers for the family and all my love. I love you Juanita .
