Fairfield Glade, TN - Josette Francoise Williams, Fairfield Glade, joined the angels Jan. 28, 2026, at Hospice after a battle with cancer. Born 1935, in France, she met James Williams while working in the same dept. He was stationed in France with the US Army. Love at first sight, resulted in 70 years of marriage and two children: Danny and Cynthia. She was an accomplished pianist, and talented cook who didn't use written recipes and grew her own herbs. In the US, she worked for Hunter Fans for 26 years.

She was preceded in death by their daughter, Cynthia, and Josette's parents, Raqul Ernest Dejaron and Chariotte Simone Groscolas. Danny lives in Colorado.

The Williams have been residents of Fairfield Glade for 20 years. Left to mourn her passing, besides her loving husband Jim, are close friends Don and Mary Hinds, distant relatives, many neighbors and friends.

Last rights were given at the hospital and cremation is being handled by Neptune Society, Knoxville. Josette's ashes will stay with her husband Jim, until his passing, when both will go to their final resting place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
