Jerry Lee Campbell, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 19th, 1944, in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, Jerry was a resident of Crossville, where he was cherished by his family and community.
Jerry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his dedication and bravery. After his military service, he built a career as a masonry laborer, where his hard work and craftsmanship left a lasting mark on numerous projects and the people who worked alongside him.
He is survived by his loving children, Charlotte Findley and Samuel Campbell (Christy). He was a treasured grandfather to five grandchildren and a great-grandfather to fifteen great-grandchildren, who will forever hold his memory dear in their hearts. Jerry's siblings, brother, Terry Campbell; and sister, Lucillia Wilson, mourn the loss of their dear brother and recall fond memories from their shared childhood.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Geneva Reba Campbell; his devoted wife, Geneva Campbell; and his beloved son, Daniel Campbell. He is also reunited in peace with his brothers, Dee Brown, Lyle Campbell, and Normal Campbell; as well as his sisters ,Betty Ray, Vina Taylor, and Wanda Mason.
Jerry Lee Campbell leaves behind a legacy defined by love, resilience, and dedication. His memory will be forever cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Bilbrey Funeral Home. Burial followed at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
