Jeremiah Keith Hood, 19, passed away July 27, 2019 from results of an auto accident in Crossville.
He was a native of Crossville and the son of Lester Ray Hood Jr. of Crossville and Leslie Ann Wise Davis of Kingsport. Jeremiah worked in construction. He loved to draw, fish and hang out with his friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lester Hood Sr.; maternal grandmother, Linda Wise, and an uncle, Charles Wayne Wise.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Ciera Hood Chaffin and husband, Kyle, of Crossville; three brothers, Curtis Hood of Kingsport, Patrick Hood of Crossville and Lester Ray Hood III of Texas; his maternal grandfather, Richard Wise and wife, Pam, of Elizabethton; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Hood of Crossville; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Cumberland Fellowship Church, 1640 West Ave., Crossville. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until the service hour.

One time before I left to go back home because me and my brother live up in Ohio with our Aunt we was just visiting and because we didn’t wanna leave he was talking about building in rooms for us and also when I went down there when he hugged me when I got down there felt so grate because he was like my best friend my brother never let me get in trouble sometimes I talked to him about thing I couldn’t talk about with anybody eals because he always had my back I love that man so much and I remember when him and my sister was together and they was arguing and I said just because you guys arnt on good terms right now please don’t quit talking to me or snapping me or texting me and he said... it’s ok I wouldn’t do that your my little sister have been sence me and Taylor got together and I toled him I love him and please don’t break that promise and he said I love you too and I would never break that promise he was like my big brother I love and miss him so much why did god have to take him so fast 😭❤️Read more
