James Harold Yeary Jr., 78, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.
He was born March 5, 1942, in Roane County, son of the late James Harold Yeary Sr. and Lorene (Todd) Yeary.
Jim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1965-'67 in Vietnam. He was well known in Crossville as the owner/barista of Pony Expresso. He attended Lantana Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Yeary of Crossville; son, James H. Yeary III (wife Linda) of Ohio; stepson, J J Boniol (wife Nicole) of Smithville; sister, Gwen Henderson (husband Mike) of Fayetteville; grandsons, Patrick Yeary, Tyler Boniol, Ethan Smith, Damion Dishman and Ricky Dishman; granddaughters Britteny Bright and Jordan Boniol.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Jon Yeary; and brothers, Dale Yeary and Larry Yeary.
Graveside services will be held at Davis Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Scott Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers are Patrick Yeary, Brian Moss, J J Boniol, Tyler Boniol, Michael Blaylock and Matthew Blaylock.
Honorary pallbearers are Darryl Smith, Craig Weaver and Stanley Hall.
