James R. Adams Obituary
James R. Adams, 71, was born on May 10, 1946, to the late Monroe and Ethel Adams in Crossville. He passed away on Oct. 25, 2017. James loved racing cars, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Jonah Adams (Joan), Allene Wright, Clarence Adams (Paulette) and Rachel Temple (Danny); and a host of niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Ethel Adams; sisters, Lucille Woody, Pauline Calahan and Lucy Newberry; and brother, John Adams.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be held on Friday following visitation at 3 with Danny Smith officiating. James will be laid to rest in Fredonia Cemetery.
