Gwynne Carolyn Bohannon-Christopher, 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away on September 17, 2024, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Adult Hospital.

Mrs. Bohannon-Christopher was born on December 20, 1939, in Mayland, TN, daughter of the late Ernest Phillips and Marietta Phillips.

Gwynne was a Radiology Supervisor at Cumberland Medical Center for 42 years and a devout Christian.

She is survived by her son, Al Bohannon (Tonya); son-in-law, Jimmy Stephens; grandsons, Hunter Stephens (Kaitlin) and Xander Bohannon; great-grandchildren, Christian and Greyson Stephens; step-children, Frank Christopher (Rachel) and Marc Christopher (Rebecca); step-grandchildren, Luke Christopher, Anna Christopher, Emma Christopher and Jake Christopher; surviving relative, Alise McCrary. Gwynne was also blessed to have many life-long friends; her beloved crew at Rutland Place; and a host of dear family members. Each had a profane impact on her life and a personal place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, Gwynne is preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Bohannon and Harold Christopher; daughter, Crystal Stephens; and sister, Betty Angel.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2pm. Burial will follow at Eastland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12 to 2pm prior to the service.
