Sparta, TN - Gladys passed away on June 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born to the late Reverend Hershel Phillips and Tilda Elizabeth Looper.
You could always find her with a smile, spoiling her children and making everyone's favorite chocolate gravy. Above all else she loved God and raised her children to be Christians.
She leaves behind seven children, 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
