Crossville, TN - Ella Kate Turner, 86 of Crossville, passed away on Nov. 19, 2025 surrounded by her family. Ella was born in Clinton, TN on Feb. 9, 1939, the daughter of Samuel Pete Stubbs and Edna Duncan Stubbs.

Ella and her husband Gene were longtime owners of Plateau Real Estate. Ella continued her successful real estate career for 53 years. She was a faithful member of Homesteads Baptist Church for 75 years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Taylor and husband Larry Taylor and Cindy Brown and Ed Rose; her grandchildren, Blake Turner Taylor and wife Amber, Rachel Lichele Taylor, and Amanda Kate Korth and husband, Wes, and bonus grandchildren Amanda

Renee Sizemore and husband Daniel and Miranda Ann Reynolds and husband Sammy and six great-grandchildren, Hayden, Addie, Elliot, Taylor, Trevor and Cameron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Morris Eugene Turner and brothers Samuel E. Stubbs, Pete Stubbs, and Lonas Stubbs and sisters in-law Pat Stubbs and Betty Stubbs.

Visitation was at Hood Funeral Home, Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., service at 1 p.m. Burial at Turner Cemetery followed the service.
