Crossville, TN - Donna Gant Stump, 82, of Crossville, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2025. Born in Conway, AR, on Jan. 8, 1943, Donna will be missed in many ways. A loving homemaker, she created, daily, nurturing meals for her family, setting the backdrop for us sharing our time and our stories, so finding our common life together. Donna was also an avid reader, especially of books set in the WWII period. She loved collecting antiques, including furniture, and restored some pieces through the challenging work of refinishing and repairing. Friends and family appreciated Donna's quirky sense of humor. She saw the humorous side of life while she also "told it like it is," seeing into the heart of matters. She wove a tapestry of warmth and caring around everyone she loved, creating a sanctuary of belonging that her loved ones will remember forever.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Michael Stump, who shared with her a deep and enduring love story lasting over six decades. She leaves behind her sons, William H. (Charlene) Gwin IV; and Lafayette (Laura) Gwin, who will forever cherish their mother's memory. Donna's legacy lives in her grandchildren, Isaac (Courtney) Gwin, Natalie Gwin, Chelsea Gwin, and Dylan Gwin, and her great-grandsons Beckham, Brooks, and Wilder Gwin, who were joyful additions to her life. Donna was a mother, a grandmother, a wife, and a friend whose loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her warmth and love.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, Roy Gant; her mother, Lorene Kirby; and her half-brothers, Lafayette and Bobby Gant.

Donna's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, the strength of family, and the joy of simple, everyday living.
