Mr David Wayne Garrison Obituary
Crossville, TN 38572 - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of David Wayne Garrison on Saturday, April 4, 2026 after an extended illness. David was born Jan. 20, 1953 to Margaret and DM Garrison of Crossville. He was preceded in death by his father, DM, and brother Jack Vaughn. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Boatwright of Crossville; brother, Rick Vaughn of Winter Haven, FL; and daughter, Jennifer Palmer of Interlachen, FL.
He also left behind dear friend and caregiver, Vestlee Lakens, as well as other family and dear friends.
David lived a life of many adventures — enjoying traveling, diving, and motorcycles in his early years. In the later chapters of his life, he lived a life rooted in service and guided by his faith. He found his deepest purpose in lifting those around him — offering kindness, wisdom, and a steady presence to anyone in need. His spiritual journey was not only something he believed, but something he lived each day through acts of generosity and love.
A celebration of David's life will be held at The Cabin in Crossville on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come and share stories and fellowship. Dress is casual as David would have insisted.
