Cora Izora Hodge, 92, of Hwy. 127 S, Crossville, passed away Jan. 6, 2002. Funeral services were held Jan. 10 from the Chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens, Rev. Fay Tucker officiating with special music by Julia Giddings. Mrs. Hodge was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Albany, KY, daughter of William and Della Grose Moles. he was a homemaker and member of Homestead Methodist Church and was one of the original Homesteaders. Survivors include sons Leroy, Larry and Wayne of Crossville, Sammy of Lakeland, FL and Glenn of Birmingham; daughters Inez Hale of Ormand Beach, FL, Gene Turner of Cleveland, Sandra Greene of Charleston, SC, and Linda Pharris of Orlando, FL; 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; three great, great-grandchildren; and sisters Cynthia Morgan of Rockwood and Dollie Morgan of Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hodge, daughter Carolyn Hodge, and sons Luther Jr., Franklin Dee and Michael Hodge. Pallbearers were grandsons Greg Hale, Keith Turner, Amile C. West III, Robert E. Pharris, Lee A. Pharris, Glenn Hodge Jr., Jeff Hodge, David Hodge and Mitch Hodge. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
