Christine Adams|April 15, 1927 - Dec. 4, 2005|Christine Adams, 78, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 4, 2005. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 7 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Todd McDonald officiating. Special music was provided by Jeff Allred. Burial was in Mayland Cemetery. Mrs. Adams was born April 15, 1927 in Overton County, the daughter of Hugh and Allie Mae Norris Carr. She worked at Flower's Bakery for over 25 years before retiring. Survivors include her children, Marie Adams, Cleda Raines, James Adams, Connie Adams and Keith Carr; grandchildren, Tommy Raines, Jennifer Davis, Leslie Waldo, Shane Raines, Manilla Grimsley, Johnny Carr, Daniel Carr, Shanna Freeman, Jason Hargis and Jackie Hargis Jr.; great-grandchildren, Levi Raines, Ashley Sisco, Abigail Sisco, Sara Beth Raines, Jesse Raines, Skylar Swafford, Austin Waldo, Kurdt Raines, Lydia Hargis, Shelby Davis and Ryan Freeman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Adams; and brothers, Erbie, Shirley and Bobby Carr. Pallbearers were Jackie Hargis, Jason Hargis, Tommy Raines, Shane Raines and Daniel Carr. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
