Charles Adrian Wyatt

Charles Adrian Wyatt, of Crossville, passed away on April 18, 2025, at Life Care Center in Crossville. He was born June 27, 1931, in Crossville, son of the late Horace Justin Wyatt and Juanita (Smiddie) Wyatt. He was a Christian man who set a wonderful example for his family and all who knew him.
Adrian was an Army veteran and as a young man, worked with his father at Turner Day and Woolworth, the "Handle Mill," in Crossville. Later he had a long and very successful career as an industrial sales representative for Gardner and Merideth Company in Chattanooga.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hayes Wyatt; sons, Larry O. (Lou) Wyatt of Crossville; Michael (Karen) Wyatt; Adrian (Tracy) Wyatt, Jr.; and Jeffrey (Rita) Wyatt, of Alabama; and his daughter, Nancy Wyatt (Alan) Holcomb, also of Alabama. He leaves behind twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceeded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Barbra (Pugh) Wyatt, who was the mother of their children; and by second wife Arlean (Keys) Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Boyd (Sherley) Wyatt; and Norman Wyatt, all of Crossville. His living siblings are his sister Evelyn Wyatt Phipps; and brothers Horace (Hoss) Wyatt, Andy Wyatt, and Luke Wyatt.
Adrian loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and really enjoyed camping. He was a strong, boisterous man who enjoyed life to its fullest. He was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed by his family.

Plant a tree: How does it work

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.

An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.

After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.

Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Tree Planting Timeline

Orders placed in:

January - May

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.

June - December

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
