Charles "Charlie" Martin Spadaro, 73, of Fairfield Glade, passed away on Sept. 4, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born Feb. 22, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Joseph Spadaro and Rose (Labruzzo) Spadaro.
Charlie worked as the director of operations of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Spadaro; sister, Brigida Scannavino; and nieces and nephews, Jaime-Lyn (Richard) Ballard, Joseph (Lynn) Spadaro Jr., Mia (Paul) Buckley, Jordyn (Austin) Love, Zachary Scannavino, Collin Soderland, Haley Buckley, Brendan Buckley, Sophia Spadaro and Skylar Beth Love. He is also survived by his many cousins and his St. Alphonsus family.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his niece, Marlaina Scannavino.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. with Father Jim Harvey officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Alphonsus in St. Joseph's Garden.
The family requests that donations be made in Charlie's honor to the St. Alphonsus Building Fund.
