Crossville, TN - Carla "Annette" Hendrixson, age 85, of Crossville, passed away at her home on Thursday, Jan. 22, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Hendrixson was born on Feb. 23, 1940, in Crossville, daughter of the late Roy McCoy and May (Phy) McCoy.

Annette worked as a medical assistant/insurance billing for Dr. R. Gene Cravens in Crossville.

She and her husband, Bill, owned and operated McCoy Place Bed and Breakfast from 2001 until his death in 2019.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Mark (Jan) Hendrixson; daughter, Robin (Carl) Straley; sisters-in-law, Sue Lewis and Eula McCoy Keagle; nieces, Debra McCoy Culp, Teresa McCoy Weidner, and Lisa McCoy Conley.

In addition to her parents, Annette is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Donald Hendrixson; and brother, Norman McCoy.

Funeral Services will be held at First Methodist Church in the Old Sanctuary on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at 2 p.m., with burial to follow in Elmore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
