Monterey, TN - Bobbi Ann McGee (DeLorenzo), 68, of Monterey, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2026. Born on May 20, 1957, in Saugus, MA, Bobbi lived a life filled with adventure, compassion, and devotion to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Claudette DeLorenzo of Salem, MA; her brothers, Tony and Marty DeLorenzo; her sister, Christy DeLorenzo; and her beloved grandson, CS3 Zachary Schonborn.

Bobbi is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 46 years, Charles Fredrick McGee; her daughters, Shannon Whipple (Kevin) and Deborah McKethan (Stephen); her brothers, John David (Janice) DeLorenzo and Charles (Jennifer) DeLorenzo, her sister Wendy Bernardino (Caverly); and her cherished grandchildren, Margaret Schonborn, Brayden McKethan, and Simon Whipple. She also leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will forever treasure her memory.

Bobbi lived an extraordinary life and was always on the move, embracing every opportunity for adventure and service. She traveled extensively around the world, creating unforgettable memories with her family. From exploring the beauty and history of Europe, to sunbathing along the shores of the Indian Ocean, to experiencing night safaris in Asia, her curiosity and love of life knew no bounds. She also dedicated time and energy to helping others, assisting schools and hospitals in Cameroon and extending kindness wherever she went.

Known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and welcoming heart, Bobbi never met a stranger. She could sit and talk with anyone for hours, making friends wherever she traveled. As a homemaker, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and an open door for family, friends, and all of her children's companions. Her kindness, hospitality, and unwavering support touched countless lives.

Bobbi will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of love, adventure, compassion, and friendship will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Bobbi's life will be held on June 20, 2026, at the Cumberland Cove Welcome Center in Monterey, TN, starting at 1 p.m.
