Billy Donald Hendrixson
Billy Donald Hendrixson, 83, of Crossville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at his home in Crossville.
He was born April 27, 1936, in Smithville, TN, son of Clifton Hendrixson and Alvilda (Smith) Hendrixson.
Billy always saw and believed the best in people and never met a stranger. He worked as an air traffic controller and was a tax preparer for 30 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he served as an usher. Billy proudly served in the U.S. Army, and was on the Convention and Tourism Bureau Board of Crossville for a period of time.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annette McCoy Hendrixson; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mark and Jan Hendrixson; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Carl Straley; and sister, Sue Lewis.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Mayo officiating. Interment in Elmore Cemetery.
