Arna Abrahamsen, 77, of Crossville, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Cumberland House in Crossville.

She was born June 11, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Martin and Alfreida (Simmonsen) Jacobsen Sr.

Arna worked as an executive for Bethlehem Steel, and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She and Svend were married on April 5, 1969, and spent 47 blessed years together.

She is survived by her husband, Svend Abrahamsen; brother, Kenneth (Judy) Jacobsen; and sister-in-law, Barbara Lee Jacobsen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Arna is preceded in death by her brothers, Martin Jacobsen Jr. and Morris Jacobsen.

Funeral services were held at Central Baptist Church on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Roland Smith and Bro. Bud Frey officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rick Jacobsen, Bob Bentson, Ken Jacobsen, Jon Jacobsen, Carlton Seeland, Erik Jacobsen and Bob Venning.
