May 19, 1931—April 18, 2015 Memorial service for Mrs. Virginia Lou Green, 83, of the Lake Tansi Community of Cumberland County, will be held May 11 at 5 p.m. at Crossville First Christian Church (111 East 1st Street). Mrs. Green’s family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until till time of the services at the church. Mrs. Green died April 18, 201,5 in Cookeville Regional Medical in Cookeville following a sudden illness. She was born May 19, 1931, in Lynch, KY, to the late David and Goldie Richardson Burt Sr. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church in Oak Town, IN, and, since living in Crossville, has been attending First Christian Church of Crossville. Mrs. Green was a member of Lake Tanisi FCE (Family Community Education). She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Williams, and three brothers, David Burt Jr., John Richard Burt and William Burt. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Randy Wolfe of Lake Tansi; grandson, Randy Wolfe Jr.; and great-grandson, Matthew Wolfe Jr., both of Issaquah, WA; six nephews and five nieces.
