Tommy "Tom" Ray Ault, 69, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at his home in Crossville.
He was born Friday, Aug. 15, 1947, in Clinton, TN, son of the late James Lewis Ault and Daisy Irene (Beach) Ault. Tom worked as an auto and small engine mechanic and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Tom is survived by his wife, Marcia Ault, Crossville; son, Tommy Ray Ault, Toms River, NJ; daughter, Betty Jean Hemple, Bridgeton, NJ; step-sons, Brad Bantle, Elizabeth, PA, and Bryan Bantle, Sicklerville, NJ; and brothers, Rev. Paul Ault, Erwin, TN, Rodger Ault, Kingsport, TN, Bobby Ault, Clinton, TN, Stanley Ault, Erwin, TN, and David Ault, Powell, TN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami Martin; brother, James Ault; and sisters, Evelyn Ault and Betty Ault.
Funeral services were held at Bible Baptist Church on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at noon with Pastor Clint W. Kerns, TH.D and Bro. Donald Wattenbarger officiating. Interment in Browns Flat Cemetery in Briceville, TN.
Pallbearers were Tommy Ault, Buddy Ault, Dylan Wells, Dawson Wells, J.R. Reed, Donnie Reed and Ethan Lowe. Honorary pallbearer was T.J. Smith.
