Timothy G. Christmas, 51, of Crossville, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 19, 2017. He was born March 22, 1966, in Nashville, TN, the son of William and Fay Mungle Christmas. He was manager of Big Lots for more than 23 years and when time would allow he enjoyed a good game of golf. He was a loving son, devoted husband and father who cherished his family, especially his exceptional grandson William. He was also a dedicated Christian man who loved and served the Lord. He and his family attended Revolution Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Christmas of Crossville; sons, Jacob and Jerrod Christmas of Crossville; mother, Fay Christmas of Crossville; exceptional grandson, William Christmas; brother, Lynn Christmas and his wife Margaret of Crossville; and brother and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Lisa Wilson of Virginia, Teresa and Benny Anderson of Kentucky, Johnny and Bernice Wilson of Kentucky, Kathy and Joe Farmer of Crossville, Jerhoda and Chet Elmore of Crossville, Jeff and Michelle Wilson of Florida and Jerry Wilson of Crossville; and a host of nieces , nephews, friends and colleagues.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bridget Fishburn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Big Lick Cemetery. The family received friends on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, from 5 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home.
