Thomas Ray Whittle Jr., 49, of Crossville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
He was born Sept. 29, 1967, in Miami, FL, son of the late Thomas Ray Whittle Sr. and Maxine (Martin) Whittle. He worked as a mechanic and was a member of the Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church. He also proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Whittle, Crossville; son, Dustin Whittle, Crossville; daughter, Amanda (Andy) Fisher, Greenville, SC; brothers, Kerry Dishman Sr., Sparta, TN, and Richard Whittle, Lake City, FL; sisters, Deborah K. Sherrill, Sparta, Vicky Lawson, Sparta, Jennifer Lewis, Crossville, Yvonne Ponton, Crossville, and Lissie Echeverri, Lake City, FL.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Stuart Dishman.
Funeral services were held at Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at 3 p.m. with Bro. Mike McCoy officiating. Interment in Creston Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dustin Whittle, Andy Fisher, Asa Davis, Brandon Cooper, Lester Cole and Billy Martin.
