Thelma Louise Pelfrey, 76, of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at her home in Crossville.
She was born Feb. 14, 1940, in Crossville, daughter of the late Curtis Amonett and Nina (Pennycuff) Amonett. Thelma was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by husband, Walter Pelfrey, Crossville; sons, Grady (Lesa) Pelfrey and Larry (Melissa) Pelfrey, both of Crossville; and daughter, Annette (Hoss) Phillips, Crossville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Edward Pelfrey Sr.; daughter, Donna Kay Pelfrey; brothers, James Amonett, William Amonett, Charles Amonett, Charnal Amonett and Arnold Amonett; and sisters, Gladys Amonett, Mary Amonett, Evelyn Amonett, Clara Amonett, Jessie Stepp, Mildred Pelfrey and Opal Godsey.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Terry Bear and Bro. Randall Dye officiating. Interment in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Grady Pelfrey Jr., Christopher Pelfrey, Tyler Pelfrey, Thomas Pelfrey, Curt Phillips, Larry Walker and Josh Meadows.
