July 18, 1922—Sept. 13, 2015 Ruby Nell Kerley, 93, of Crossville, passed away Sept. 13, 2015, at Beverly Hills Apartments in Crossville. She was born July 18, 1922, in Crossville, daughter of the late Doss Suggs and Lula (Burgess) Suggs. Ruby was a loving housewife and a member of the Vandever Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Tollett (Arthur) of Crossville; sons, Eddie Davis and Jack Davis (Jerri Sue), both of Crossville; step-children, Charles and Carolyn; and sister, Betty Wesley of Bowie, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kerley; brothers, Richard Suggs and Thomas Suggs; and sister, Ruth Hamilton. Pallbearers were Eddie Davis, Danny Tollett, Gerald Lewis, Terry Lewis, Rocky Dennis and Tim Tuttor. Graveside services were held at Big Lick Cemetery on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, with Bro. Vern Daugherty officiating. Interment was in Big Lick Cemetery. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
