Sept. 25, 1945—Nov. 10, 2015 Roy Nichols, 70, of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Cumberland Medical Center. He was born Sept. 25, 1945, in Crossville, son of Winfred E. Nichols and Syble (Nealon) Nichols. After proudly serving his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, Roy retired from Avery Dennison (formerly Carter's Ink). He also enjoyed many activities and hobbies. He is survived by his son, Troy Nichols, and mother, Syble Nichols, both of Crossville. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Winfred E. Nichols. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Vern Daugherty officiating. Internment was in Crossville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clay Nealon, Lynn McNeal, Tim Nealon, Billy Norris, Tom Isham and Troy Nichols. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
