Roseline Harmeier Nitschke, 93, of Pinconning, MI, formerly of Crossville, passed away peacefully March 30, 2017, at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City, MI. Roseline was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Bay County, MI, the daughter of Henry and Sylvia Roeder Harmeier.
She enjoyed the ladies quilting group, baking and working in her garden. Roseline was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Nietzke of Pinconning, Ml, and Susan (Brian) Lauer of Alva, FL; brother, Loyd Harmeier of Bentley, Ml; grandchildren, Jodi Nietzke, Brian Nietzke, Matthew (Tiffany) Nietzke, Joshua (Casie) Scarberry, Jeremy (Casey) Scarberry, Ryan Lauer and Cody (Lydia) Lauer along with five great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Lee Scarberry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ormond Nitschke; daughter. Janice Scarberry; son-in law, Albert Nietzke; and twin brother, Roland.
Funeral services will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior.
