Roberta Fay Arens, 89, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017, in Crossville after a brief struggle with recurring cancer.
Born on Sept. 22, 1927, in Lansing, MI, Roberta was active in business and in volunteer work at Lansing's St. Lawrence Hospital Auxiliary, once serving as its president. Her greatest joy was raising her four boys in Lansing and later in Mason. Married to Robert in 1952, she spent memorable summers at their Lake Michigan cottage and wintering at their Fairfield Glade, TN, residence.
Preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph and Lewis, she is survived by her husband, Robert; four sons, Greg of Stuart, VA, Mike (Renee) of Howell, MI, and Steve (Danielle) and John (Jody) of Cedar, MI; six grandchildren, Jenny (Cory) Baker and Danny, Alexandra, Jackson, Julian and Jonathon Arens; one great-grandson; nephews, David and Steven Rosen; and niece, Missy (Rosen) Scire.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Roberta's name to the Salvation Army.
