June 18, 1937—Aug. 20, 2015 Robert Anthony Pelikan, 78, of Crossville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was born June 18, 1937, in Potosi, MO, son of the late John Pelikan and Genevieve (Recar) Pelikan. He was the owner of Pelikan Landscape Maintenance, Inc. and was of the Episcopal faith. He is survived by his wife, Ann Pelikan of Crossville; daughters, Dorothea Pelikan of California and Marianne Jackson (Brian) of Kentucky; brothers, John Pelikan of Missouri, Chris Pelikan of Arizona and Thomas Pelikan of Missouri; and sisters, Marian Pelikan of Illinois, Matilda Tucker of Missouri, Mary Rose Pelikan of Washington, DC, Dorothy Falcetta, Mary Poeschel, Judy Barnes and Lucille Beirith, all of Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Barnhart and Frances Morgan. Funeral services will be held at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church Friday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ken Brown officiating.
