May 11, 1925—March 14, 2015 Robert Lee Morgan, of Crossville, was called away to be with the Lord on March 14, 2015. He was born in Putnam County, MO, on May 11, 1925. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kern and Pauline Morgan; brothers, Roger, Louie, and Jack; and various other aunts and uncles. He is survived in death by his son, Steven “Mark” Morgan, and daughter-in-law, Diane Morgan; daughter, Jacqueline, and son-in-law, Gordon Ogle; grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer and Lauren; and his great-grandchildren. He attended Unionville High School. After graduation, he joined the Navy during World War II and served as a communications petty officer. After discharge, he held various positions with farm implement companies in sales. In the early 1960s, he moved to Florida and worked for General Tire Corporation as a store manager, then with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company as owner/operator until his retirement in 1985. He lived in Dunedin, FL, until moving to Crossville in 1996 to live with his son Mark and daughter-in-law, Diane Morgan, until his death in March of this year.
