Robert Farmosa, 73, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Wharton Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, TN.
He was born April 21, 1943, in Ware, MA, son of the late Joseph Farmosa and Rose (Rio) Farmosa.
Bob worked as an electrician and was a member of Cumberland Worship Center where he volunteered in the sound booth, recording Sunday and Wednesday services. He also was part of the Hope Ministry-Outreach and The Senior Care Bible study, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Farmosa, Crossville; daughter, Trista (Dale) Simmons of Auburn, WA; sons, Scott (Susan Mallette) Farmosa of New Braintree, MA, Kirk Farmosa of Thomaston, CT, and Todd (Marianna) Farmosa of West Yarmouth, MA; brother, Herman (Lucille) Farmosa, Naples, FL; several nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth Wegerzen (Jeremy), Christin Farmosa (Heather), Rose Farmosa (Neil Johnson), Maery Simmons, Mathew Simmons, Madilyn Simmons, Matthew Farmosa, Daniel Farmosa, David Farmosa, Kayla Mallette and Michael Mallette.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Rose Brodeur and Hope Crespo, and a nephew, John Farmosa.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 3 p.m. at Cumberland Worship Center, 145 Interstate Dr., Crossville, with Pastor Chris Palmer officiating. Also, a memorial service will be held at East Brookfield Baptist Church in East Brookfield, MA, on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 3 p.m. with Pastor John Lindsay officiating.
