Richard Dillon, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Aug. 15, 2016, after a short illness at Cumberland Hospice House. He was born in Dowell, IL, on Jan. 15 1933, to parents Velma and Curtis Dillon.
He leaves behind his wife, Treva; daughter, Kelly; grandchildren, Dylan and Anna; and great granddaughter, Michaela. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darlene Butler; and brother, Arthur Dillon.
He served in the Korean War and after discharge went to work for Burroughs/Unysis Corp. There he worked for 33 years. He was fortunate enough to take an early retirement and moved to Florida where he enjoyed saltwater fishing.
His final wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered. He requested no memorial or funeral service.
He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
