March 30 2015 Ralph W. Taylor, 86, resident of Fairfield Glade, passed away March 30, 2015. He was born in Toledo, OH, son of the late Ralph Clyde Taylor and Leah (Rollo) Taylor. Ralph retired from Sun Oil Refinery in Woodville, OH, after 45 years of service. During his working years, he served as a Marine in the Korean War, refereed professional wrestling for 35 years, worked as a AAU swim official and played and managed softball teams for France Stone Company in Maumee, OH. Ralph is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois; son, Scott Taylor of Ohio; daughters, Karen Lubaway and Beth Evans of Michigan and Janine Hines of Barbados; grandchildren, Steven, Alexandria, Christian, Taylor, Brody and Meghan; and sister, Dorothy Gancsos of Ohio. Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Schumacher. Memorial services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Glade, Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. Ralph will receive full military honors by the Cumberland Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Fairfield Glade, or Hospice of Cumberland County in Crossville. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
