Nov. 17, 1927—March 23, 2016 Pearl Hassler, 88, was born on Nov. 17, 1927, to the late Frank and Martha Webb in Crossville, TN. She passed away at her home on March 23, 2016, in Crossville. Pearl loved going to church and singing, and she was a member of Stevens Gap Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, quilting and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed going fishing and playing rook. She is survived by her children, Don Hassler (Kathy), Dan Hassler (Carmen), Carolyn Lawson and Thom Hassler (Carrie); 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and siblings, Milo Webb (Beulah), Edd Webb, Lola Anderson, Shelby Kennedy, and Margie Hicks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hassler; daughter, Glenda Blaylock; parents, Frank and Martha Webb; and siblings, Ethel Wright, Roy Webb, Litton Webb and Ray Webb. A funeral service for Pearl was held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Arlon Way officiating. She was laid to rest in Big Lick Cemetery. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
