June 15, 1934—Dec. 26, 2015 Oscar Milo Boston passed away Saturday, Dec. 26th, 2015, in Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born June 15, 1934, to Oscar and Lora Tabor Boston of Crossville, TN. Mr. Boston or “Mr. B.” worked in Detroit, MI, at General Motors Corporation before returning to the Plateau and opening Crossville’s first pizza parlor known as “Mr. B’s” on Rockwood Highway. He also opened and operated Boston’s Restaurant off Main Street before selling it to the current owners several years ago. An avid sports enthusiast, Mr. Boston sponsored and managed a local softball team known as “Mr B’s.” He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joann Boston Brockman; brothers, Carl and Roy Horton Boston; brothers-in-law, George Brockman and George King; sister-in-law, Barbara Boston; niece, Kathy Boyer; and great nephews, Matthew Boyer and Josh Tollett. He is survived by his brother, Bill Boston, and sister, Kitty Boston King, both of Crossville. He leaves a host of family and friends. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
